A professional writer since 1980, and a business and technology journalist since 1988, I've spent the past decade or so writing about investing and finance for a variety of publications, including Barron's, PC Magazine, and Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine. I recently completed a contract stint with Microsoft, where I provided marketing and writing support for the Office Accounting product.
